The Market Managers is an independent private limited company. As such we are the ‘data controller’ responsible for protecting your personal information. The terms ‘We’ and ‘Us’ in this policy refer to The Market Managers.
What data do we collect and how do we use it?
When you visit our website we collect a limited amount of data to help us improve your experience of using it and to help us manage the information we provide. The data includes how you use the website, how often you visit it and the times it is most often used.
When you submit an application form to stand at any of our markets or events we only ask you to supply the information we need to process your application. This includes your name, address, contact phone number and email address. This is so we can keep a log of who has applied to each event and contact you with any important information you need to know.
We also ask you to supply a copy of your current Public and Products Liability Insurance, Hygiene and other relevant certificates and a picture that shows your product or stall. This is to make sure that we have the information we need to prove that stallholders are fully insured and compliant with current regulations.
You may request details of personal information which we hold about you under the Data Protection Act 1998. We will respond to requests for information within 48 hours. We will ask for identification to ensure we are providing information to the appropriate person.

Controlling your information
